Bill D. Phipps

Bill D.Phipps, age 90, of Wichita, retired Santa Fe Railroad employee, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Funeral service 10 AM Monday, March 30, with visitation one hour prior, Smith Mortuary, 501 SE Louis Blvd., Mulvane. Interment will follow at Belle Plaine Cemetery. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Hoy & Willie Phipps; brother, Harold and a half sister, Nadine. Survivors include his wife, Ramona; sons, Darrell (Kathie), Moundridge, Robert (Kathy), Colorado Springs, and Roger, Kennesaw, GA; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. A memorial has been established with Westside Church of Christ.
