Betty Rose Womack

May 17, 1931 — July 15, 2021

Betty Rose Womack entered eternal rest and peace on July 15th, 2021 and joined the love of her life John Womack who proceeded her in death on June 1, 1990. They married on Dec. 7th, 1958, and they raised two children Wanda Harris and Ronald Womack. Betty is survived by her daughter Wanda Harris and husband Tim Harris of Davis Oklahoma, son Ron Womack of Wynnewood Oklahoma. Betty is also survived by her five grandchildren Monica Stinchcomb and Toby Stinchcomb of Rye Colorado, Damien Womack and fiancé Dani Gay of Haven Kansas, Jarrad Thomas and Felica Thomas of Alpena Michigan, Randy Thomas of Davis Oklahoma, Wesley Heter of Mcpherson Kansas, Krystoffer Womack of Larnard Kansas and Kymberlee Achor and Zach Achor of Wynnewood Oklahoma. Betty also had. 9 great grandchildren, Sady Stinchcomb, Kelby Stinchcomb, Macy Stinchcomb, Logan Womack, Xander Heter, Logan Heter, Emmalee Womack, Greyson Womack and Timmy Harris 3 rd. Betty and John lived in Park City Kansas and then moved to Rose Hill Kansas until Betty moved to Wynnewood Oklahoma to be with her children. Betty was the youngest of 5 children born to Nellie and Thomas Garnett who have proceeded her in death. Betty's siblings Virginia Lassmann, Thelma Futhey and Bill Garnett have all proceeded her in death. Betty has one remaining sister Erma Lee Brown who still lives in Wichita Kansas. Betty has many nieces and nephews. She loved her family. Betty talked many times about the vacation that her and John took on a motorcycle and how that was the best vacation they had ever taken. Betty loved to ride motorcycles but was never able to hold one up to ride by herself. Betty was very close to her siblings, she and Erma Lee used to call each other every morning and evening to check on each other until she moved to Oklahoma in 2014. Betty worked at the Rose Hill State Bank which she retired from after 25 years. Visitation 1 pm - 8 pm, Monday, July 19, with family receiving friends 5-7 pm, funeral service 1 pm Tuesday, July 20, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby.
