Betty Jane Shinkle

Shinkle, Betty Jane, 84, passed away Monday, January 3, 2011. Memorial service 2 p.m. Friday at Smith Family Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Betty was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Haysville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Shinkle; infant daughter, Maxine; parents Edward and Mildred Norman, grandson, Larry Glodfelty. Survived by children Stan (Cecelia) Shinkle, Haysville, Vicki (Gerald) Marsh, Wanda (Gary) Ralston, Sheila (Brian Fortier) Cooper, Kathy (Kenneth Nelson) Riedl, all of Wichita; 9 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 8 step-great-grandchildren;1 great-great-grandchild, and 2 step-great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
