Betty Lou Bowlin, 92, retired Sedgwick County Appraiser's employee, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 1, 2017. She lived her life with the 4-F's, Faith, Family, Friends, Flowers. She loved to bake and cook. Everyone who visited her home was encouraged to step outside to enjoy the landscaping she lovingly maintained. Betty's love of God was reflected in the care of HIS living things. She was featured on numerous garden tours and was always happy to share her knowledge of gardening with everyone. She was intelligent, caring and compassionate, loving everyone coming in contact with her. Words describing her best would be faithful and precious. Betty never refused to help someone in need and lived by the Golden Rule setting standards by which this family lives and inspired others to follow in her footsteps. Preceding her in death is her husband, Harold L. "Bill" Bowlin; parents, George and Pearl Nave Blosser; brother, Roy Blosser; sisters, Mary F. Morey, Helen Rothwell, May McCrary. Survivors: Dave (Lori) Bowlin of Wichita, Linda (Mike) Kizzire of Goddard, Traci (Mike) Havercroft of Benton; grandchildren, Lindsey (TJ) McClure of Benton, Dawn (Ben) Redington of Andover, Sydney O'Donnell of Wichita, Chad (Bonnie) Kizzire of Greenwood, AR; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Aidan and Brynlee Redington and Trevor Kizzire; sister, Ruth Lewellin; numerous nieces and nephews.
