Bertha Steudte

Bertha M. Steudte, 85, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018. She was born March 26, 1933 to Richard and Rose (Bishop) Shipman in Belle Plaine, KS. Bertha enjoyed crocheting blankets and weaving rugs that always went to a good cause. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John in 2006; and brother, George Shipman. Bertha is survived by her sons, Dana (Debbie) Steudte and Dale Steudte; sister-in-law, Shirley Shipman; nephew, Rick (Stacey) Shipman; great-niece, Bailee; great-nephews, Gage, and Colt; and beloved companion, Babe. Memorial Service: 10:00 am, Monday, December 24, 2018 at Madison Avenue United Methodist Church, 900 E. Madison Ave., Derby, KS 67037. Inurnment to follow at El Paso Cemetery.
