Bernadine Frances Baker

Bernadine (Kloefkorn) Baker, 81, of Wichita, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2011. No visitation. A memorial service will be held 2 PM Tuesday, September 6, 2011, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N Rock Rd., Derby. Bernadine was born on August 25, 1930 and was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Dean McLaren and Jim Kobbe; and brother, William Kloefkorn. She is survived by her husband, Frank; daughter Jackie Combs of Minneapolis, KS; son Bryant McLaren of Houston, TX; son Jim Kobbe of Wichita; son Chuck Kobbe of Baltimore, MD; brother John Kloefkorn of Brighton, CO; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association. Smith Mortuary, Derby in charge of arrangements.
