Betty Adams

Beatriz "Betty" Adams, age 78, homemaker, passed away Friday, April 2, 2021. No visitation. Memorial service 10 am Thursday, April 22, Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca, with the committal service at 1 pm, Kansas Veterans Cemetery, 1208 N. College, Winfield. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Adams, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Julie Adams; granddaughter, Amanda Spillman; mother, Louisa Guterez; sisters, Rose Paulhamus and Sophie Pina; and her brother, Henry Gallegos. Survivors include her sons, Leonard Adams, Jr. (Sondra) and Anthony Adams; brothers, Augustine and Fidel Gallegos, and Manuel Avelar; sister, Lucille Sallee; grandchildren, Grayson and Quinn Adams, Emily Hale, Shane, Isabella, Gabriella, Ivan and Alyssa Schild; and her special friend, Sonya Davis.
