Barbara Jane Williams, 76, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026. She was born on January 21, 1950, in Manhattan, New York, to John Robinson and Ada May Wilson.
Barbara had a vibrant spirit and a keen eye for beauty. She possessed a wonderful talent for decorating, always bringing warmth, elegance, and a welcoming touch to the spaces around her. She also had a deep love for music and loved to dance, filling her life with a constant, soulful soundtrack. As a young woman, she could often be found ice skating, gracefully gliding across the ice with a joy that inspired those around her. Above all, Barbara had a deep, lifelong love for animals of all kinds, always carrying a special place in her heart for creatures in need.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ada, and her siblings, Antoinette and Michael.
Barbara’s loving legacy will be carried on by her family. Survivors include her devoted children, Anthony Vicente, Christopher Vargas, and Danielle (Keith Berntsen) Marin; as well as her cherished grandchildren, Benjamin, Christian, Caleb, and Mia.
A Memorial Service is 11:00am Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Smith Family Mortuary, 7031 S Broadway, Haysville, KS 67060.
