Barbara Ann Garza, 78, of Haysville Kansas, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026. She was born on January 20, 1948, to Donald and Angeline Sironen in Muskegon, Michigan.

Barbara Ann Garza (Barb) was known for her passion of Gardening and Canning. Barb was involved in several groups on Facebook, always looking for new gardening or canning tips and tricks and passing on a few herself. She also enjoyed being outdoors in nature and camping.

Barbara worked as an accountant for several businesses before retiring. After retirement Barbara started a business with her husband making Native American jewelry. Barb was very passionate about the Native American culture and was involved in the Potawatomi Pokagon tribe. She displayed and sold the jewelry they made together at Four Winds casino in Dowagiac, Michigan and Native American events in the area.

She leaves behind children and grandchildren who will forever be shaped by her love and wisdom. Her memory will continue to guide all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Rusty Garza, married 42 years and children Mark, Rhonda and her husband Ron, Beth and her husband Eric and Stepchildren Francine, Michelle and Kelly. Grandchildren Justin, Merranda, Alexander, Jayce, Izabelle, Thalia, Fawn, Kori, Tammy and Shelly. A loving family who will miss her dearly and honor her memory every day. Her life was a gift, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

There will be a celebration of life to be held at a later date in Michigan.
