Barbara Borror

San Antonio - Borror, Barbara Jane (Strain) 84,

formerly of Wichita, retired USPS Postal Clerk, devoted wife and loving mother, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Saturday, December 8th, 2018. She was born February 21st, 1934 to Samuel P. Strain and Lois Ayres Strain in Garnett, Kansas.

Barbara was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church and active with the Double Ring Class and Debs group. She participated with the Volunteers in Mission and Walk to Emmaus. Barbara was devoted to her husband providing care during his extended illness years earlier. She loved her family and especially all of her grandchildren whom she enjoyed watching make their way in the world.

Barbara is preceded in death by husband, Calvin A. Borror; and her parents.

She is survived by her children: Mary Kelly (Dan) of Edmond, OK, Susan Woolsey (Ric) of Loganville, GA, Linda C. Borror, of Wichita, Donna Smith (Jerry Keith) of San Antonio, TX, David Borror (Linda K.) of Wichita; Grandchildren: Dr. Brendan Kelly (Dr. Kelsie) of Shawnee, KS; Brianna Wener (Jacob) of Downers Grove, Il; Bryce Kelly of Littleton, CO; Sean Woolsey, Evan Woolsey both of Wichita; Lauren Smith, Sarah Smith, both of San Antonio, TX; Elizabeth Smith of Los Alamos, NM; Russell Taylor of Wichita; Great-grandchildren: Caitlin and Ethan Kelly of Shawnee, KS; Josephine and Vivienne Wener of Downers Grove, IL; Brother, Carl Strain of Anthem, AZ.

Visitation: Thursday, January 3rd, 2019, from 2 - 6pm at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary 115 South Seneca Wichita, Kansas 67213. Funeral Service: 10 a.m., Friday, January 4, 2019 at First United Methodist Church - Wichita. Interment to follow at Garnett Cemetery, Garnett, KS.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church TV Ministry, in care of the church.
