Austin Lollar

November 15, 1965 — September 19, 2021

Derby, Kansas - Lollar, Austin, age 55, on September 19, 2021 ran with new found grace and speed to anxiously reunite with dear loved ones in our eternal kingdom.

Despite the many struggles he endured, Austin kept a sweet smile and a laugh that would warm anyone’s

heart. He resonated an “all is good” and gracious “thank you” for your conversation. He kept his upbeat attitude

with a passion and love for his family, bowling, Kansas Jayhawk Basketball, and music. His love and knowledge

of music, especially...70’s and 80’s Rock, was quite impressive! Austin was definitely a “Top Gun” when it came to sharing his knowledge concerning his beloved band...Led Zeppelin. He taught himself to play the drums

and he “banged on his drums all day” for many years.

Despite a surgery that cost him his ability to play them anymore, his “on beat” tap to any song will forever be etched in our minds and hearts.

Austin was born in Great Bend, Kansas on November 15,1965. He graduated from Derby High School in 1984.

He is preceded in his death by his parents Alonzo and Carmetta Lollar.

Austin is survived by his brother Lonnie (Patty), sister Lonetta; nephews and nieces Alexis Sattler, Abram Lollar, Lauren Goings, and Christian Lollar as well as many cousins and great nephews and great nieces.
