Asela Margarita Humfeld

Humfeld, Asela Margarita, age 92, went home to be with her heavenly father on Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Visitation 1-8pm today; Rosary 7pm today, both at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Funeral Mass 10:30am Friday at St. Francis of Assisi, 861 N. Socora, Wichita. She was born in Cuba February 22, 1918 and came to the U.S. in 1963. Asela was a school teacher in Cuba and Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Segundo and Emelina Delgado; husbands, Mario Goicoechea and Donald Humfeld; 8 siblings. She is survived by sons, Mario (Susan) Goico of Wichita and Roland (Phyllis) Goicoechea of Rogers, AR; daughter, Ileana (Tom) Butler of Westminster, CA; siblings, Rolando, Ofelia and Ada Delgado; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
