Arvine Harold Field Sr was born July 27th, 1941 to Lester Walter Field and Alberta Lucille Weaver Field in Tiffin, Ohio.
He went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024 at his home in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 82 years, 10 months, and 6 days.
Arvine was a long time member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served in the Army and had many occupations. His last one was as an airplane tool designer for Boeing. Arvine married his sweetheart Linda in June of 1968, this year would have been their 56th year anniversary. He dearly loved his 9 kids, 29 grandkids, and 21 great-grandkids. Arvine had many, many hobbies. Some of those included a passionate love for motorcycles, all things airplanes, ham radio operator, trains-trains-and more trains, woodworking, and he deeply loved dogs. He also loved to keep Linda on her toes. Arvine will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
He was preceded in death by his parents - Lester Walter Field and Alberta Lucille Weaver Field; siblings- Sonny, Morton, Kay, and Phyllis; and grandchildren - Adam and Melanie.
Arvine is survived by his wife - Linda Lou Shuck Field of the home; Children – Cloyce III and wife Chris Wolfe of Uniontown, Ohio; Tina Wolfe of Austin, Texas; Arvin Jr and Jessica Field of Newark, Texas; Tammy and Jim McNabb of Platte City, Missouri; Scott Field of Glade Water, Texas; Mike and Ven Thomas of Liberty Hill, Texas; Wesley and Cheryl Field of Wichita, Kansas; Charles and Mattie Field of Newark, Texas; Michael and Mellissa Field of McLoud, Oklahoma; Grandchildren – Cloyce IV, Raymond, Alan, Sarah, Shawn, Elizabeth, Marcello, Ryan, Eric, Shyla, Kyle, Matthew, Chelsea, Cory, Kalee, Kristen, Bradley, Ella, Cody, Samantha, Rylee, Addison, Colbie, Heather, Britney, Katie, Emily, Michael Jr; and 21 great grand-children.
Visitation: Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 from 4:00-5:00 (family only) and 5:00 pm to 7:00 PM (public) at Smith Mortuary, Derby 1415 North Rock Road Derby, Kansas 67037. Funeral Service: 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 6th, 2024 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 2300 N. Buckner Derby, Kansas 67037. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
