We are so grateful to the Lord for the life HE gave to Arvada. She was proud of her career at Boeing as a riveter and wiring tech. Arvada met the love of her life, Arnold “Arnie”, during her time at Boeing and together they enjoyed 62 years of marriage before Arnie’s passing in 2017. Following her retirement from Boeing, she spent her time quilting for new babies in the church, spoiling her grandkids and making desserts. Most of all, she will be remembered for her never failing faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. Her family and friends know that the love she had for the Lord resonated throughout every other part of her life on this earth. We will miss her laughter, smile, hugs, kisses, voice and hearing her pray. Arvada loved the Christmas season. How wonderful is God’s timing - “ I’ll be HOME for Christmas.”
The children and grandchildren of Arvada have scheduled a Celebration of Life from 1 to 3 pm on Saturday, March 29th, 2025 at Bethel Life Center, 3777 S. Meridian Ave., Wichita, Kansas 67217. We hope many of our family and friends will attend so we can share some wonderful memories of Arvada and allow us to thank you for the blessing you have been to our mom and family.
In lieu of, flowers, a memorial has been set up for Assemblies of God World Missions through Bethel life Center in Arvada's honor.
