Arlene E. Braswell

Braswell, Arlene E., 75, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014. She was born October 30, 1938 to Stanley and Bernice (Root) Jacob in Columbus, OH. Arlene loved spending time with her family and enjoyed frequenting the casino. She was preceded in death by her parents; and children, Clyde Braswell, and Rhonda Gibson. Arlene is survived by her husband, Elgie Braswell; children, Lela (Keith) Albright, Peggy Marrs, and Arlene (Kenneth) Thomas; son-in-law, Kerry Gibson; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a large extended family. Visitation: Monday, 1 – 8 pm at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS 67037. Funeral: 2 pm, Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at First Baptist Church Mulvane, 1020 N. 2nd, Mulvane, KS 67110.
