Ardoth E Hilton

May 27, 1937 — November 29, 2024

Ardoth E. “Pat” Hilton, 87 years old, left us to be with Jesus after a long battle with her body. She fought the good fight to be with us as long as she could. Ardoth was born on May 27, 1937 in Denver, Colorado to Julius Virgil Patrick and Ethel Sears. She was raised from the age of 3 to adulthood by her aunt and uncle Esther and Reverend Samuel Garber whom she called mom and dad.

After high school, Ardoth married Paul Hilton. Together they raised 4 children. Sadly, they divorced after 20 years but, remained friends.

Ardoth worked as a telephone operator, as a cashier at Kwik Shops and retired form Boeing and Dillons. Ardoth loved WSU Shocker baseball. She even traveled to Hawaii in 2011 to watch them play. She was a KC Chiefs and OU Boomer Sooner fan. She got to take a cruise and even caught a blue marlin during a deep-sea fishing excursion. Ardoth loved crafts and nick nacks. Her family called her the nick nack queen of Wichita. Her rug hooking and floral arrangements skills were that of perfection. Her family will still get to cherish some of her many projects. Ardoth loved the Lord and was ready to go to her heavenly home.

Ardoth is preceded in death by both sets of parents, sister Arloa, brother Bill and a baby grandson, Bryan James Hilton.

Ardoth is survived by her children, Wayne (Teresa) Hilton, Rex (Kim) Hilton, Shelia (Gary) Tubbs, and Rusty Hilton. Sister, Linda (Karl) Schrader 2 half-sisters and a half-brother, Grandchildren, Duessa (Jason) Soutter, Trisha (Bobby) Crawford, Tiffany Smith, Leah Mead, Cari (John) Yaeger, Jerremy (Leslie) Hilton, Jesse Hilton, Victoria (Thomas) Gerth and Darrin Hilton.
