Anita S. Hayes

Hayes, Anita S., 91, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2015 surrounded by her famiy. She was a longtime member of the Rose Hill United Methodist Church, where she was active in various activities. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Henry "Lee" and her sister Mary Simmons. Survivors: children, son Hank Hayes Jr of Reno, NV; daughter Lynn (Bill) Clarke of Prescott, AZ; son, Robert "Bob" (Kathleen) Hayes of Bronson, MI; son John (June) Hayes of Rose Hill; five grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.Visitation will be 1-5 Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N Rock Rd, Derby. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 83105.
