Anita Gile

July 20, 1958 — April 15, 2021

Anita V. Gile (Eberhardt), 62, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on April 15, 2021.


Nita was born in Wichita and raised in Valley Center. She enjoyed fishing, crafting, gardening, senior dances, and watching Grey’s Anatomy and westerns. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.


Preceded in death by her parents, Edith and Robert “Bobby” Eberhardt, brother Russell Eberhardt, sister Barbara Stewart and son Rocky Gile.


Nita is survived by husband Randy “Moody” Gile, brother Bobby (Robbie) Eberhardt, sons Rick (Jennifer) Tibbits and Josh (Crystal) Gile, daughters Stephanie (Clint) Luckner, Sherranda Gile and Dina (Jake) Tibbits Crowe Seely, her grandchildren Allie, Alex, Gavin and Gracyn "Harlee Rae" Zimmerman, Kalib, Ethan and Jax Luckner, Alexus and Aiden Tibbits, Miranda, Braxston, Rockelle and Ryder Gile, Brittany Wise, Devon Brown, Alyssa and Jacob Rickley, Gracie Crowe, Montana, Sterling, Jessica, Jackson, Kayleigh, Jacob, Alivia, Jackson,Sophia and Colton; and numerous friends.


Visitation will be Monday, April 19th, 2021, from 9am - 12pm , at Smith Mortuary at 1415 N. Rock Road in Derby, KS. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Kechi Township Cemetery at 6523 N. Hillside, Park City, KS.
