Angel Cortez Machado

Angel Cortez Machado was born on October 18, 2008. He passed away on July 29, 2026, at the age of 17.

A devoted father, Angel enjoyed spending time with friends and making the most of life. He worked multiple jobs while striving to build a better future for his daughter. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Tanisha Herod; his father, Byron Machado; his brothers, Armani Machado and Legend Machado; his sister, Amyah Machado; his girlfriend, Izabell “Izzy” Martinez; his daughter, Mulana Machado; his grandmothers; his great-grandmother; his great-grandfather; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Todd Hemphill; his great-grandfather, Mark Hemphill; his great-grandmothers, Juanita Machado and Betty Gandy; and his uncle, Alonzo Machado.
