Anastasia Natalia Rooney, who befriended everyone and spread joy and light to all, passed from this life on October 18, 2021 as an innocent victim in a tragic motor vehicle accident. Anastasia (or Ana, as she was known to her friends) joined the world on December 27, 1994, in the Djizak Region of Uzbekistan. Her early childhood was filled with both love and hardship. On October 14, 2008, Anastasia officially became a Rooney and moved to the United States. Together with her parents, Michael and Lisa Rooney and siblings, Sean, Matthew, Jonathan and Laurisa Rooney she embraced life!
Anastasia brought laughter and smiles to those around her and was only truly happy if she could spread that happiness to everyone she met. She originally attended Rampart High School in Colorado Springs, but ultimately graduated from Derby High School in 2014. Afterwards she earned her Certification as a Nursing Assistant. Her circle of true friends grew from her time at the Walmart Neighborhood Market where she proudly worked her way into management as an Academy Trainer.
Generous with everything she had to offer, she loved to cook large meals of Uzbek cuisine and spend time with friends. She was artistic, creative and enjoyed music and dancing. She was looking forward to spending the future with her fiancé, Ian Temples and growing the amazing family she already has. She delighted in the time she could spend online with her sisters Tatyana (Tanya) and Maria (Masha) Denshchikova and her nieces and nephews, Ekaterina (Katya) and Alexander (Sasha) Denshchikova, Artem Bodyakin and her stepfather, Valery Denshchikov. The other great love of her life was her cat, Willow, whom she saw as another orphan in need of a home and love. Anastasia was preceded in death by her biological mother Natalya Denschikova and a niece, Anastasia Bodyakina.
Anastasia will forever be missed by all who knew her beautiful and irreplaceable soul. May we all remember her smile, her laugh, her kindness, her generosity and her ever present sense of humor.
