Alvin P. Mcguire

Alvin P.McGuire, born January 7, 1928 in Wichita, Kansas went to Heaven October 17, 2012. He graduated from Wichita East High School and was a World War II Marine veteran. Alvin retired as an electronics technician from Wichita State University. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Phyllis J. (McAdam) McGuire of Mulvane; son, Alan Pat McGuire (Alice) of Coffeyville; daughter, Barbara McGuire of Mulvane; grandchildren, Rachel McGuire-Miller (Banks), Aaron P. McGuire (Vanessa); great-grandchildren, Cal Miller, Aidan P. McGuire and Emma J. McGuire. His beloved mother Violet Brooks and stepfather F.E. Brooks precede him in death. Viewing: 2-8pm Friday with family greeting friends from 5-7pm at Senter-Smith Mortuary, 501 SE Louis Blvd., Mulvane. Funeral service: 2:30pm Saturday, October 20, 2012, Mulvane Christian Church, 502 Highland Park, Mulvane, KS.
