Almeda M. Marx, 83, was born November 10, 1929, in Nashville, KS and passed away December 20, 2012, at Halstead Health & Rehab. Preceded in death by husband Henry Marx, Jr.; parents Philomena (Richenberger) and Joseph Martin; siblings Quinten (Gen), Neoma (Bob Winter), and Mary (Charles Becker). Survivors include sister, Lucille (Ken) Andra; brothers Larry (Myra) Martin, Bill (Doris)Martin; son, Terry (Gina) Marx; daughters, LaVonne (Steve) Tucker and MarKay (Kent) Stuart; grandchildren, Ashley (Truman) Schabillion, Adam Stuart, Bobby Stuckert, Margo Stuckert, and John Henry Marx; great grandchildren Daniel and Soren Schabillion. Almeda was a homemaker, seamstress, school cook in the Renwick district, and above all, a precious and loving mother and grandmother. Viewing: 1-3pm Wednesday, Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm Wednesday, December 26, 2012 and Funeral Mass, 10:30am Thursday, December 27, 2012, both at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 311 S. Fifth Street, Colwich, KS with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice or Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
