Alice “Cookie” Olmstead, 67, died Friday, October 3, 2014 in Wichita. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 13, 2014 at Smith Mortuary Chapel, 1415 N Rock Rd, Derby. Visitation 1-8 Sunday at the mortuary. She was born January 1, 1947 to Ples and Vesta Cox. Survivors: husband, Wayne D. Olmstead; children, Kay Olmstead, Angela Williams (Jim), Carrie Ellis (Brian) and Shannon Olmstead and 14 grandchildren. Cookie and Wayne just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in August.
