Alberta May Gordon

Alberta May Gordon, 80, retired Bank teller, passed away Friday, February 4, 2011 due to complications from a stroke. Viewing: 2-8pm Wednesday with family greeting friends from 5-7pm. Service: 2pm, Thursday, February 10, 2011, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Additional services will be held at 11am, Friday, February 11, 2011, First Christian Church, 201 S. Main, Yates Center, KS. Alberta was preceded in death by her husband Samuel J. "Buck" Gordon. Survivors: daughter, Janet Sue (Vari) Minassian of Morton, IL; sons, James Gordon of Longton, KS; David (Denise) Gordon of Golden, CO; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Ella Fae Henson and Hester Allison, both of Yates Center.
