Agnes C. Sherman

Derby - Sherman, Agnes Catherine 93, passed away Monday, January 2nd, 2023. She was born March 12th, 1929 to John and Margaret (Engelbert) Connot in Colome, South Dakota.

Agnes was a retired school psychologist, working in Derby, Winfield and other school districts. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother & friend. She was active in her Church Altar Society, avid cross-stitcher & reader.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Robert Sherman in 1995; brothers: Lawrence, Herman & Leonard; sisters: Mary & Theresa.

Agnes is survived by her children: Catherine (Mike), Elena, Allan (Janet), John (Venice), Denise (Todd), Bruce (Cindy); 11 grandchildren;11 great-grandchildren; Sister: Ann Harmon of Nebraska; numerous other relatives & friends.

Visitation: Friday, January 6th, 2023, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Smith Mortuary, Derby 1415 North Rock Road Derby, Kansas 67037. Rosary recited 9:30 am Saturday followed by Funeral Service: 10:00 am, Saturday, January 7th, 2023, both at St Mary Catholic Church Derby, Kansas 67037. Interment to follow at El Paso Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church Building Fund, in lieu of flowers.
