Abigail Joann Hatfield

Abigail “Abby” J. Hatfield, age 33, passed away February 18, 2014. Visitation 1-8pm Thursday, February 27, with family present 6-8pm at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 2pm Friday, February 28, at South Rock Christian Church, 900 S. Rock Rd., Derby, with interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Derby. Abby was born September 3, 1980 in Harper, KS. She graduated from Derby High School and then went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree at Kansas University. She was a registered nurse and lived in Phoenix, AZ where she worked as an esthetician nurse. Abby is survived by her parents, Pat (Carolyn) Hatfield of Arlington, WA and Kim (Mark) Mullen of Derby, KS; siblings, Andy (Sharnell of Derby, KS) Mullen of Green Valley, MO, Angie (Jeff) Walsh of Derby, KS, Stephanie Hatfield of Phoenix, AZ, Jason Hatfield of Wichita, KS and Scott Hatfield of Hutchinson, KS; nieces, Alexis Mullen and Lilian Walsh; grandparents, Violet Olmstead of Anthony, KS, Dwight Hatfield of Wellington, KS, Kenneth and Loretta Lyon of Derby, KS, Clarence Mullen of Derby, KS and Jeanette Lightfoot of White Hall, AR; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
