She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lindabury and her siblings, Wilma Linningham, Roy, Don Rex, Lester, William, and Louis Sloan.

Ruby is survived by her children, Earl Shannon Lindabury (Teresa), Kimberly DeWald (Troy), Jennifer Blundon (Matthew); grandchildren Hunter, Mason, Amanda, Cody; great grandchildren, Maximus, Alex, Abigail; brothers, Walter, John, Lawrence, Leonard.
