Rey, Ray, 74, Retired Ritchie Paving Foreman and former 35 year Stannard Construction Company Foreman, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012. Visitation 1-8 pm Tuesday, with family present 6-8. Funeral service 1 pm Wednesday, both at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Elvira; sister Eva; and granddaughter, Angela Rothrock. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Melba; daughter Linda (John) Rothrock, Derby; son Dan (Deldee) Rey, Lake Tapps, Wash.; and son Don (Samantha) Rey, Wichita; grandchildren Jason (Rochelle ) Rey, Jessica Rothrock, Jenny (Patrick) Flanagan, Melanie (Jon) Rooney, Mariah Rey, Austin Rey; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers Jay Rey and Jim Rey; sisters Leatha Frye and Lois Chapman.
