Elaine Stewart

Stewart, Elaine, age 60, heart monitor technician for the Robert J. Dole VA Hospital in Wichita, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012. Visitation 1-8pm Thursday, February 9, with family present 6-8pm; funeral service 10am Friday, February 10, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, L.D. and Ora Lee Laxson; siblings, Darrel, Rocky and Coeta Laxson. She is survived by her children, Raylene Stewart, Dwane Stewart, Jr. and Rachel Powell; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Nedra Hendrickson, Debbie (Norman) Bush, Carol (Tim) Meldrum, Becky Watson and Keith Laxson; numerous nieces and nephews.
