69, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020. He was born July 30, 1951 to Clayton and Eula Bea Huckaby in Heavener, OK.
Steve retired from Boeing as a web analyst in 2010. He was currently the mayor of Rose Hill, serving 3 years to his community. Steve was always a positive influence and a rock to his family and friends. He was a loving and devoted husband, dad, papa, and friend. Steve loved to have fun singing karaoke, fishing, and camping.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clayton Huckaby; sister, Brenda Sue Huckaby
Steve is survived by his wife of 48 years, Debbie Huckaby; children, Jeremy (Rebekah) Huckaby, Jennifer (Eric) Fleming; grandchildren, Miranda Huckaby, Kaitlyn Huckaby, Jacob Huckaby, Kolton Huckaby, Andrew Huckaby, Kylie Huckaby, Brandon Huckaby; great-grandchildren, Carson Huckaby, and Cambrie Huckaby; mother, Eula Bea Huckaby; siblings, Rick (Susan) Huckaby, Tony (Lori) Huckaby; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Rose Hill Recreation Commission, 400 S Rose Hill Rd, Rose Hill, KS 67133, with visitation one hour prior. Masks and social distancing are required. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
