Obituary for Wesley Earl Crowe

Derby – Wesley (Wes) Earl Crowe, 51, passed away on Wednesday May 18, 2022, a day after his birthday. Wes was born May 17,1971 in Wichita Kansas. Wes had many jobs throughout his life, but his absolute favorite job was working for Five Star Mechanical, in which he was employed at during the time of his passing. Wes was proud to be a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union #441 and scheduled to graduate in 2023, after completing 5 years of schooling. Wes loved God and volunteered his time as often as he could at the Church. Helping people was a priority to Wes. Wes will be remembered by his onery, witty and sarcastic humor. He enjoyed playing pranks, making people laugh and loving life to the fullest. He was dependable and worked hard. Everything he did, he put his heart and soul into. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and anxiously awaited football season to tailgate and spend time with the “guys.” He loved his sports teams! Wes cherished his time with his wife and family. He enjoyed traveling with his wife Michelle, and often planned his next destination before they had even arrived back home from vacation. Wes is proceeded in death by his father, Ralph Willard Crowe; Grandmother, Betty Sanders; Aunt, Sarah Williams; Sister-in-law, Angela Crowe. Wesley is survived by the love of his life, Michelle; Daughter, Felicia (Ryan); Daughter, Katelyn Sherman-Voge (Alex); Daughter, Jocelyn Marie; Daughter, Maelea Mathias; Son, Zayden Voge; 4 Grandchildren; Sarina, Leon, David, Edward; Brother, Gary Crowe; Sister, Kim Ruiz; Brother, Richard Crowe; Sister, Holle Spencer and numerous Nephews, Cousins and a Niece.
Funeral Service: Thursday June 2nd at Life Church Derby, 2801 N Buckner St, Derby Kansas. The doors will open at 9:30 am and the service will be begin at 10:00 am. Prior to the service a slideshow will be displayed accompanied by Wes’ favorite music if you choose to arrive early. Immediately following the service there will be a one-hour visitation where family and friends can visit and socialize at Life Church Derby.
Wes specifically requested that he wanted no one to “dress up.” His preference was for his fellow friends/co-workers to wear their HVAC work attire and for all other guests to dress casually in his favorite sport team attire of your choice: Kansas City Chiefs, KC Royals, KU Basketball, Seattle Seahawks
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that funds be contributed towards a memorial tree to be planted at Wes’ family home. If you desire to contribute to the tree a donation box will be available at the service or donations can be mailed to Michelle Crowe PO Box 76, Derby Kansas.
