Obituary for Terry Wayne Ketterman

Our beloved TK, husband, father, “Papa T”, brother, uncle and friend passed unexpectedly on Sunday, September 10th, 2023 at his home. Terry Wayne was the first born to Ed and Neita Ketterman on May 10th, 1955 in Winfield KS. He grew up in Douglass playing baseball, basketball, coyote hunting with his dad Ed, rooting for the Kansas Jayhawks, the New York Yankees, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He spent lots of time with his friends and family cruising in his Chevelle and playing slow pitch softball. He was a 42 year employee of Boeing/Spirit retiring in 2020. Terry was preceded in death by his father Ed Ketterman. He is survived by his wife Tyra, mother Wauneta Ketterman of Douglass, son Nick (Katie) Ketterman and Beth (Tate) Osborn both of Augusta, Annessa (Brian) Russell of Newton, Adam Clark of Kansas City, sisters Robbin Ketterman and Twila (Butch) Thompson both of Douglass and numerous nieces as well as great nieces and nephews. Papa T especially enjoyed spending time and bragging about his grandkids Ryan, Katie, Taylor, Tinley, Tristin, Leam and Braelyn and did everything he could to be there to support them ALL. He was enjoying his retirement by traveling, hunting and working on the farm. TK valued family and friends above all else and would want to remind us all that we never know how much time we have left so laugh and love while you can.

Derby. Funeral services will be Saturday September 16th at 10am at the Christian Church in Douglass KS
