Obituary for Suree Snellenberg
Suree Snellenberg passed from life on May 29th 2022, due to a heart condition.
Suree Chompoorat was born in Chieng Mai Thailand on July 22nd, 1940. She was raised in Thailand where she was married at a young age and had two children, a boy and a girl. Unfortunately, the boy died at a young age in an auto accident. After a divorce, the girl Kim, stayed with her father.
The Snellenbergs lived 49 years together while Robert was in the Air Force and later settled in Kansas. Their one child Creighton was born on July 31st, 1977. Robert had long careers with Boeing and with the Air Force and Suree at times worked in nursing, a school teaching aide and manufacturing. Their residences in Kansas were in the Rose Hill and Derby area.
Through the years Suree’s greatest importance in life was to be a loving wife and mother. She spent years being a homemaker where she was happiest. She spent countless hours enjoying her home gardening. Suree always kept a beautiful home and garden and took great pride in it.
Suree is survived by her husband Robert of Derby, her daughter Kim Berg of Wichita, and her son Creighton with four grandchildren of San Antonia Texas.
