This is Ivan Pechanec. When I came on board at the Boeing office in 1967, Bob was one of the few young people in the office. I got a lot of help from him when I was trying to find out how things worked. We worked together on many jobs. I remember a trip we made to Okla. City. It was an overnighter and we went to a Chinese rest. for dinner. He ordered fried chicken and complained about it for days. Then their was the time we were both had teams of trainee's. He had one that sat at her desk and cried. I had one that was 10 years old. He finally got his to settle down but I had to let mine go. Great sense of humor, always giving us the "okie" view on things.
I cannot attend the funeral as when they describe people that are most likely to not survive the virus, I think they are reading my medical chart. I cannot take any chances. Total quaratine.
Bob was a good person and I will miss him.
