Obituary for Robert D. Fenimore

Peck, KS- Robert Fenimore, 68, stepped into eternity with his Lord on Thursday, May 6, 2021. Rob was born in December of 1952 in Denver, Colorado. He lived there until after he graduated high school, joined the Navy, and spent 9 years serving his county. He married his high school sweetheart, Vickie, in 1971, and they started a family, raising their two beautiful daughters as they traveled around the country. After leaving the Navy, Rob and his family moved to Alaska, where he went to work as a Power Plant Specialist and their youngest daughter was born. Alaska was home for over 20 years before he decided to move to North Carolina, then Tennessee, and finally Kansas, where he will be laid to rest.

His celebration of life service will be on Tuesday, May 11th, at the Church of the Firstborn, 3742 S West St in Wichita, KS. The service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the graveside following at Greenwood Cemetery.

Rob was preceded in death by his father, Loren Fenimore, and his mother, Lois Fenimore. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Vickie Fenimore; daughters: Jenna Morrison (Damon), Sandy McGraw (Brooks), and Tammy Majors (Jayson); his brother Jerry Fenimore (Tina) plus multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephew, niece, in-laws, out-laws, and clan.
