On February 25th 2021 our lives were changed forever Rick Gideon left this world free of pain with the love of his life by his side. Rick was born September 29th 1954 he worked hard to provide well for his family. To know Rick was to know he was silly, he was playful he was so funny, & you wouldn’t catch him without his hat on. He loved hard, he was a simple man with not many wants. He was a huge Raiders fan he had superstitions and traditions when it came to game day and boy did we all know it. He is proceeded in death by his parents Alfred Gideon and Rosie Thornburg. Brother Irvin Gideon. Rick is survived by his wife of 32 yrs Penny Gideon, two Daughters Christie (Keith) McCullough & Dawnyel Slayden. Two Sons Josiah & Dakota Bruner. Sisters Judy (Jim) Rainey, Bev Leftwitch, Brother Kenny Thornburg. Several nieces and nephews, Grand children: Jace Storment, Hannah Smith, Kaj McCullough, Aydriawna Slayden, Tinley Bruner and Alaynah Bruner; and one great granddaughter Everleigh Rose Riley. We won’t stop thinking of you, talking about you and treasuring every moment or memory we have. You will forever be loved and missed by each and every one of us, your existence brought some of us life but all of us love.
