On Sunday, November Twenty-ninth, in the year of our lord Two Thousand Twenty, Ralph Veach went to join his beloved wife, Jeanine, in heaven. The reunion has been long coming as she preceded him in death 4 long years ago.
Ralph will be welcomed thru the gates of St Peter by his parents, Loyd and Josephine, along with his two brothers and younger sister, Melvin, Arthur, and Alice. Today Ralph’s sisters, Geraldine, Joetta, Doloris, and Constance, can rejoice in fact their brothers are all united in heaven.
Ralph made many treasured memories with his five children, (Cathy, Daniel, Julie, Francis and Phillip), their spouses, and his many grandchildren. These memories will be carried on by all of them in equal yet varying manners to allow Ralph’s great children know him.
Second to his family, Ralph loved to write, and spend time sitting outside watching the world move around him. Whether it was the squirrels running thru the trees or his hummingbirds feeding, Ralph found pleasure sitting quietly and listening. Many of these moments of reflection ended up as a topic in some of his beautiful poetry.
As Ralph would put it:
I am now off to enjoy the happy hunting grounds
Where the grass is always soft
The leaves are ever changing colors
The game is forever plentiful
Goodbye dear father.
