Mike Aguirre, 77, quietly passed from this life into the waiting arms of his heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. Loving husband, caring father, big brother, cherished Grandpa. Mike lived his life with dignity and a certain sense of style. Married for 48 years, he and his wife, Carol, enjoyed a full life together and raised a family. Ever the cowboy, he enjoyed the times he got to reenact cowboy shows for the public. Mike had many interests and hobbies, which started most times with just a dream. Works of art flowed from his hands effortlessly. He always worked hard at whatever task was given to him, whether at work or at home. He leaves behind treasured memories with family and friends who will miss his sense of humor and big personality. Celebration of Life 11AM Monday, November 4th, 2019, at First Pentecostal Church 1755 E. MacArthur Road Wichita, Kansas 67216. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Dominga Rena Aguirre. Mike is survived by his Wife, Carol Aguirre; children, Charles Aguirre, Robert Aguirre, Dallas Mohler and Katherine Aguirre; siblings, Mary Schulze; Greg Aguirre, Juan Aguirre, Rosa Tatro, Margaret Moon, Anna Aguirre; 10 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren; and loving extended family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First Pentecostal Church, ensuring their bus program is successful in getting young people to church so they can attend services.
