Obituary for Pat Aikman
Pat A. Carpenter-Aikman born October 21, 1941, in McPherson, KS passed peacefully in hospice care on Monday, August 15, 2022.
Pat is preceded in death by husband, Melvin Aikman; daughter, Lindy M. Tran; son, Raymond; parents, Scott and Enid Rodrick-Carpenter; sister, Charlene K. Carpenter-Hicks; and nephews, William (Scott) Hicks and Michael (Mike) C. Hicks; and cousin, Jan Rodrick-Boyd (Larry).
Pat is survived by son-in-law, Duc Tran; granddaughter, Ky Lynn Tran (Brandon Westervelt); grandson, Raishan Tran; nieces, Daylene Olsen (Arne), Joleen Beard (Sterling), Jackie Hicks; great niece, Jessica Castellano (Modesto); great nephew, Seth Beard, Caleb Hall (Tawnya), and Samuel Beard; great-great grand nieces, Alivia Scuffham, Tehya Turner, Sophia Scuffham; great-great grand nephew, Gabriel Castellano; and cousin Becky Rodrick-Weaver (Joe).
In lieu of flowers Pat has requested donations to the Kansas Humane Society or Pals Animal Rescue of Wichita in support of her Special Friends.
