Obituary for Nenita Guanio Siwa

Nenita G Siwa, 91, passed away at Parker Adventist Hospital, Parker, CO on April 8, 2022. Nenita was born on March 2, 1931 in the Philippines to Domingo and Basilia Guanio. In 1970, she and her husband, Ricardo, emigrated to the United States and settled in Wichita, Kansas. Their 3 children joined them shortly after and together the family built a wonderful life in Wichita. Nenita was an elementary school teacher in Manila, Philippines and worked at several companies in Wichita before retiring to enjoy her grandchildren. She was kind, selfless and always eager to please. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Nenita was preceded in death by her husband, Ricardo, her parents Domingo and Basilia and 3 brothers and 3 sisters from the Philippines.

Nenita is survived by her 3 children, Nimfa Niquette (Kendall) of Aurora CO., Renan Siwa of Thornton, CO., and Neriette Eldridge (John) of Frisco TX. She loved her grandchildren, Kyle (Tiffany) and Holly Niquette, Sara and Sydney Siwa, and Joshua and Noah Eldridge. Nenita adored her great grandchildren, Mila, Jace and Baylee Rodriguez.

Nenita is also survived by her sisters, Teresita and Helen both residing in Manila Philippines, her brother Nick of Ontario and brother Pablo of Norway.

A funeral mass will be held Friday May 6th at 10:30 AM at All Saints Catholic Church. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 AM. Burial will immediately follow the mass at Reflection Pointe Cemetery, Wichita. The family is offering a reception at All Saints Catholic Church after the burial. A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
