McDiffett, Nellie "Nell" Rose, 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 12th, 2022. She was born March 12th, 1930 to Herbert and Gussie McElwee, in St. Claire Shores, Michigan. She retired from the Small Business Administration as a Word Processor. Nell was active at the senior center in the Reader's Theater for 10 years, whose group entertained the residence at the center and assisted living place. She took tap dance classes until she could no longer participate, taught Sunday School, and Bible School while raising four children. She and her husband square danced for 8 years, she also loved great old hymns of the church, Andre Rieu orchestra music, the King James version of the Bible, and enjoyed good clean humor. She also had a prayer ministry as well as an email prayer line for the church. Preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; sons, David and Michael McDiffett. Survivors include her children, William McDiffett, Frank McDiffett, Pamela (Mark) Kerschen; brother, Charles McElwee; grandchildren, Kade McDiffet, Kiel McDiffett, Drew (Sarah) McDiffett, Jason (Jodi) McDiffett, April McDiffett, Erin Stratton, Alex Stratton; great-grandchildren, Adrik, Tadem and Daisy McDiffett, Ava and Jaxon McDiffett, Sarah McDiffett, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Service is 11:00 am Monday, December 19th, 2022, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 North Rock Road Derby, Kansas 67037. Interment to follow at El Paso Cemetery.
