Obituary for Michael Coverdale
Mike was born December 18, 1959 in Lynwood, California. He was 63 when he passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023 in Dallas, Texas.
He was passionate about spending quality time with his family. It did not matter what he was doing with them as long as they were doing it together. In addition to spending time with his family, his main hobby included buying and restoring classic cars. He loved to take those cars to car shows and the drag strip. He also enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, traveling, dirt bike riding, watching motocross and numerous other activities. Mike was known for being a compassionate man who was independent, generous, kind and loyal.
He was preceded in death by his mother, a brother, and two sisters.
Mike is survived by his wife, Lesa, of 40 years; their children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 North Rock Road Derby, Kansas 67037.
