Obituary for Maximilian "Max" Steinbuchel

Steinbuchel, Maximilian (Max) F.
68 of Tempe, Az., formerly of Derby, passed away peacefully at home Sept. 4,
2010. Max was born July 1, 1942 to Maximilian and Patricia Steinbuchel in
Wichita, Ks. After graduation from WSU, he worked for Boeing until moving to
Arizona in 1989. While in Derby Max served on the Derby Volunteer Fire
Dept. for 21 years, and served on the city council. He retired from
Motorola in 2003. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Toni; daughters
Julie (Jason) Sinykin and Kerri (Bob) Whitely; grandson Ethan Sinykin;
brothers Michael and Mark Steinbuchel; sisters Candy Honn and Sandy Gray.
Services will be held Oct. 16 at 10 a.m. at Smith Mortuary, Derby. Memorial
contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. smithfamilymortuaries.com
