Obituary for Max Dale Phipps

Max Dale Phipps, age 19, of Mulvane, employee of Faneuil and 2019 graduate of Mulvane High School, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020. No visitation. A celebration of Max’s life will be held at 3 pm on Monday, September 28 at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road., Derby. Max is preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Phipps. Survivors include his mother, Carissa Phipps; father and stepmother, Tracy and Carla Phipps; brother, Jaxson Nelson; sister, Aimee Thompson; grandparents, Lary and Marie Nelson, and Loretta Phipps; great-grandparents, Marven and Wanda Law, Melvin Nelson; aunts, Brianna Rhodes (Brett), Dana Nelson (Frank), and Ali Stetler (Jason); great-uncle, Dennis Law (Kate), and many beloved cousins.
