Obituary

Obituary for Mary Kutz

Mary Kutz, our sweet momma passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020. She was our glue, our positive light who held us all together. We are left missing her and finding our new normal. The mix of tears, laughter, phone calls, memories, and pictures have come over the past days, we are rejoicing in the fact that she has gone home.
Mom knew no enemy - everyone was welcome, and they too could feel her love, compassion and acceptance. She loved; the quiet supporting unconditional kind of love.
Mom lived her life for Jesus and taught us all through her light of being welcoming, strong, patient, loving, kind, gentle, brave.
Multiple Sclerosis became a part of mom’s story 21 years ago in 1999. She fought everyday in ways we were able to witness and in other ways only she knew. She protected us all while leaning into the Lord. Mom went, she did. She embraced life, never complaining, fighting from her wheelchair with a positive attitude and grateful heart for she knew she was so blessed. Mom planted seeds of love and Jesus in each one of us, her children, grandchildren, spouses, friends, family, and strangers. She guided. She was the most beautiful soul you could ever know. We are lucky, so very lucky she was our momma, wife, grandma, sister, cousin, aunt, friend.
We sing with you now momma, one of your favorite hymns, as you make your final walk home, for you are now walking with your Lord, Jesus.
“Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
O what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir Of salvation, purchase of God,
born of his Spirit, washed in his blood.
This is my story, This is my song,
Praising my savior all the day long!
This is my story, This is my song,
Praising my savior all the day long!”
