Obituary for Mary F. DeBerry

Mary DeBerry lived a long and happy life surrounded by her husband, her daughters, grandchildren and a very large extended family, as well as a number of children she could fit inside her home.
Mary is preceeded in death by her husband, Bruce and her brother Frankie.
Mary is survived by her daughters Polly, Denise and Ruth. As well as many grand and great grandchildren and a very large extended family.
Mary was loved by everyone who came in contact with her, especially her husband Bruce of almost 50 years. She dedicated herself to the Lord, her family and her in-home daycare. Most of all the love she had for her husband. Bruce never once allowed anyone to hurt his queen and if the two of them were working together, mountains could be moved. Bruce knew from the start Mary was the love of his life, but Mary had a different opinion of Bruce. Bruce and Mary were a true definition of love. She would often tell the story of how they met; with a twinkle in her eyes she would often tell us how she wanted NO PART of Bruce DeBerry, and how he “wore” her down by loving Polly first. Then you would see a smile come across her face of the memories they made together.
