Obituary for Lulu Mae Allison

Belle Plaine - Allison, Lulu Mae 86, passed away at home Thursday, November 10th, 2022. She was born February 28th, 1936 to Wilbur and Mabel (Crane) Davis in Fort Scott, KS. Lulu Mae was a loving wife, momma, grandma, great-grandma & friend. She loved Jesus, was an avid gardener and vegetable canner. She was best known for her love of cooking and hosting family and friends. Lulu Mae is survived by her husband of 68 yrs, Clarence R. Allison; daughters: Kathy (Tim) O'Connell of Towanda, Joan (Bill) Barnes of El Dorado, Carla (Brent) Mossman of McPherson, Linda (Roger) Foltz of Augusta; grandchildren: Dara (Nathan) Smith, Tanna (Greg) Cooney, Riley O'Connell, Morgan (Nathan) Lefler, Tyler (McKenzie) Barnes, Preston Mossman, Sydney Mossman, Brek (Brooke) Train, Heath (Samantha) Train, Jenna (Robby) Carter, Blaize Foltz & Brady Foltz; great-grandchildren: Kemble, Kenton & Kessler Smith, Traegon & Tennyson Cooney, Avery & Addy Lefler, Tripp, Claire, Kennadi & Rowe Barnes, Kace & Kam Train, Harrison & Hutton Train; sister: Wanda Harlan; brother: Ralph Davis; numerous other relatives & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Robert Davis and sister: Barbara George. Visitation to be held Wednesday, November 16th, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Hatfield-Smith Funeral Home located at 219 W. 2nd in Belle Plaine, KS. Funeral Service to be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, November 17th, 2022 at the Belle Plaine First Baptist Church, 612 N Linden. Interment to follow at Paradise Valley (new Belle Plaine) Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Belle Plaine.
