As the Plane of Mercy coordinator at Midian, I had many opportunities to work with Lee. He was devoted to the Hospital Van unit, driving many of our Shrine patients to the hospital at St. Louis, and making numerous trips to pick up our Western Kansas patients. I have lost count of how many of our patients, when scheduling a hospital van trip, requested Lee and his friend Ken as their drivers. Lee was so kind and personable and genuine with the kids, and children recognize those qualities in adults! Lee will be sorely missed by all of us at Midian Shrine.
