Obituary for Katherine E. Blevins
Katherine Elizabeth Blevins (Carver) was born on August 28th of 1952 to Jesse and Elna Carver. She was 4th of 5 children. John Carver, Carol Oberly-King, Gladys May, and Arvid Carver.
She was married to Larry Blevins April 12th, 1978. She became an amazing, mother to two girls Tammy Johnson and Theresa Lacey both of Udall, Ks. She has 5 grand children Jakob and Jerimiah Folk (Tammy); Elizabeth (Beth), Courtney, and Abigail (Abby) Lacey (Theresa and Darren) and 9 great grandchildren; Wesley, Sarayah, Amiyah, Elena, Athena, Scarlett, and Gracyn (Jakob and Sydney), Micah and Larkin (Jerimiah).
Is preceded in death by her mom, dad and Larry and great grandson Larkin.
Kathy worked for 37 years at Spirit. During that time she made many wonderful friends. She love her job as a quality control team member and auditor.
She was also a church member of New Life Chapel for over 30 years. She had a huge heart of love for everyone she met. There was no doubt she loved God and he loved her! She was an amazing wife, mom, and friend to many. Always patient and kind with the opinion of loving people just as God loved her. Kathy loved reading and studying her Bible and doing puzzles of any kind. Watching the KC Chiefs games, Hallmark movies, and old westerns shows and movies. She loved animals of every kind but especially watching the deer in the meadow and hummingbirds.
Everyone that met Kathy loved her instantly. She was joyous and loved to laugh. And she was always someone you could go to in times of need. She had huge shoulders and an even bigger heart. She walked this earth trying to do God's will. She will be missed by many. We take comfort knowing she has joined those who went to Heaven before her.
A Celebration of Life will be held 4 pm, Saturday, Nov. 16 at New Life Chapel, 2654 58th Drive, Udall, Kansas, 67146.
