Karen Kay Lawless, WInfield, 80 passed away Monday, March 21,2022. She was born May 18, 1941 to Leonard and Edna (Dill) Batt. Karen had an extensive work history including Continental Phone Company, ASC office, Dillons, Gambino’s and Braums. It is well known that Karen loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Karen will be remembered for her musical talent, whether that was singing in the choir or playing the organ or piano in church. She was an incredible seamstress, a creative decorator, cook and gardener. She led youth Sunday School classes and GA’s over the years.The biggest legacy that she leaves her family is her love for the Lord and being a great role model. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Lawless, parents, brothers, Rick Batt and Dwaine Batt; grandchildren Alexis Crittenden and Graham Springer; great granddaughter, Brenna Crittenden. She is survived by children Brian Lawless, Tammie (Randy) Foust, Rigaile Lawless, Greg (Sofie) Lawless; grandchildren Vanessa, Amber, Allyson, Ashley, Aleesha, Branden and Lauren, 15 great grandchildren and sisters in law Dorothy Lawless and Sadie Batt. The funeral will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday April 2, 2022 at Central Baptist Church, 904 Wheat Road, WInfield, Kansas. An inurnment will be held at a later date.
